BHOPAL: A 17-year-old girl was kidnapped in a car and gangraped by a Facebook friend and two others in Gwalior.
All three suspects -- including the relative of a former MLA -- have been arrested.According to the teenager's complaint, she had come in touch with the main accused, Ramu Kushwaha, on social media.
On November 21, when she was returning home after running an errand, she got a call from Ramu at 5.30pm, asking her where she was.Once she told her location, he told her to wait for him and arrived shortly in an SUV, she says in her complaint, adding that there were two others in the vehicle -- Sarvind, a nephew of former MLA Ajab Singh, and Chhote Khan.Ramu told her to get into the vehicle but she was reluctant, seeing the two other men but the trio dragged her in and sped away, she alleges.
They drove to a deserted place where they took turns to rape her, says the complaint, adding that she resisted but was overpowered.

The trio dumped her and left.
When she regained consciousness, she made her way to a police station and reported the incident.Police immediately began an investigation and rounded up Ramu and Sarvind.
Chhote Khan remains at large.
"A case has been filed against the three based on the victim's testimony.
Efforts are on to arrest the third accused.
Raids and extensive searches are being conducted," SP Rajesh Chandel told TOI.(The victim's identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme Court's directives on cases related to sexual assault)
