BENGALURU: The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) on Thursday confirmed the fourth orbit-raising maneouvre to further push the spacecraft further away from Earth.“Chandrayaan-3 Mission: India celebrates International Moon Day 2023 by propelling Chandrayaan-3 a step closer to the Moon.
The fourth orbit-raising manoeuvre is performed successfully...The next firing is planned for July 25, between 2 and 3pm,” Isro said.It however, did not immediately give out details of the orbital parameters of the spacecraft.
After the July 25 maneouvre, Isro will attempt the trans-lunar injection — slingshot the spacecraft towards Moon — on the intervening night of July 31 and August 1.
