Uruguays manufacturing industry output grew by an average of 3.6 percent in 2022 versus 2021, driven by food processing, the National Statistics Institute (INE) reported the other day, Monday.Last year, the division with the greatest positive incidence of the Manufacturing Industry Physical Volume Index (IVFIM) was Food Products, with an advance of 7.0 percent and a weight of 2.8 portion points.It was followed in importance by Motor Vehicles and Wood Production and Products, with increases of 103 and 17 percent, respectively, and shares of 2 and 0.3 portion points.Uruguayan market production grows 3.6% in 2022.
