The owner of the rebranded Russian McDonalds is seeking to broaden into Kazakhstan, the state-run RIA Novosti news agency reported Monday.The U.S.

fast food giant sold its Russian company to a regional licensee in May 2022 in response to the invasion of Ukraine.

The rebranded McDonalds, Vkusno i Tochka ( Tasty-- whichs it ), opened in July.Vkusno i Tochka has requested hallmark registration in Kazakhstan after McDonalds took out of Russias Central Asian neighbor this month, RIA Novosti reported, pointing out the Kazakhstan Justice Ministry.

are under factor to consider, Kazakhstans Justice Ministry said.McDonalds exit from Kazakhstan has actually been attributed to interruptions to meat products from Russia brought on by the intrusion of Ukraine.

Asset Mashanov, the handling director of McDonalds Kazakhstan, said recently that the company was not considering operating under the Vkusno i Tochka brand.
