More than 90 passengers and team were left from a Russian aircraft Sunday after among its engines caught fire while landing at an airport in southern Turkey, the Anadolou state news firm reported.The Azimuth Airlines traveler aircraft was landing at Antalya airport on Turkeys Mediterranean coast when a fire broke out in its left engine, an airport official informed the firm.
All 87 travelers and four team members were securely evacuated, stated the authorities, Suat Seyitoglu, including that the fire was quickly put out and there were no injuries.Media reports said the aircraft had actually flown in from the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi.
