DANTEWADA: Maoists torched 14 vehicles and machines engaged in construction works in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh, on Monday.Police said that the incident took place at around 1.30am at Bangali camp under Bhansi police station limits.Additional Superintendent of Police, Dantewada, RK Burman said that around 25-30 maoists, most of them dressed as villagers, fled the spot soon after setting the vehicles on fire.The officer added that upon receiving the information, the police force rushed to the spot and doused the fire.Four Hyvas, four pickups, one earth moving machine (JCB), one crane, 1 sifter truck, two water tankers, and one mixer were among the vehicle torched, reported ANI quoting official.No person was injured in the incident and police search was under way in the area, said Burman.
