Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal actor Gashmeer Mahajani's father, Ravindra Mahajani (77), is no more.

The veteran Marathi actor was found dead in his flat at Ambi village in Maval taluka near Talegaon Dabhade.It is suspected that Ravinder Mahajani may have died three days ago, senior inspector Ranjit Sawant of Talegaon MIDC police told TOI.It was only after neighbours complained of a foul smell emanating from his flat that the door was broken by the police who found him dead.The body was sent to Talegaon Dabhade for autopsy.Apparently, Ravinder had been staying alone in his flat for the last 8 months.Ravinder made his debut with the film Saat Hindustani in 1969.

He then featured in films like Mumbaicha Faujdar, Aram Haram Ahe, Zoonj, Bolo He Chakradhari and Panipat among several others.His son Gashmeer Mahajani is also an actor who has been part of popular shows like Imlie and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

He has been seen in several films including Muskurake Dekh Zara, Deool Band, Mala Kahich Problem Nahi, Dharmaveer among others.In the recently wrapped TV show Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, he played the role of Armaan Oberoi.

It also starred Reem Shaikh and Karan Kundrra.
