Javier Milei, a presidential candidate in Argentina, recently expressed openness to including leftist politicians in his cabinet. He mentioned this in an interview on Monday.
His statement comes as he prepares for a runoff election. His opponent in this election is Sergio Massa, Argentinas current Minister of Economy.Milei believes that some sectors could benefit from leftist expertise.
He cited an example.
Milei plans to create a new Ministry of Human Resources. This ministry would merge different areas like health and education.
He thinks leftists might manage such a ministry effectively. In an interview with El Observador radio, Milei elaborated on his point of view.
He said if the most capable person can solve a problem, their political beliefs dont matter to him.I aim to resolve issues in an effective, harmless way, he stated.Milei Considers Leftist Talent for Cabinet Roles.

He came in second in the first round of elections with nearly 30% of votes. Now, he faces Massa, who secured almost 37% of the votes.
To win, Milei wants to attract voters from different political backgrounds.
He isnt focusing solely on the left.Patricia Bullrich in Mileis Cabinet? In the same radio talk, Milei also named Patricia Bullrich as a potential Minister of Security.
Shes a center-right politician. In the presidential race, she finished third, gaining almost 24% of the votes.
Milei and Massa both see her supporters as key to winning the runoff.Milei praised Bullrichs past performance as Security Minister between 2015 and 2019.
She has a proven record in tackling insecurity issues, he commented. However, its worth noting that Milei had earlier criticisms for Bullrich and the left.
In the past, he accused her of extreme activism during the 1970s.Hes also been skeptical of leftist ideologies in his campaign.
At one point, he even called Pope Francis a communist.
