A neurologist from the Khatam Al-Anbia Hospital in Iranshahr, Iran, said a five-year-old Afghan boy, living in Iranshahr, has saved the lives of three Iranians after his family agreed to donate his organs.According to Iranian media, the neurologist, Dr.

Nasirzada, said: &This child suffered brain death due to falling from a height (from a tree) and was hospitalized in Khatam Al-Anbia Hospital in Iranshahr for five days and nights.

Finally, with the consent of his parents, his organs were donated.&Dr.

Nasirzada stated that the child was the hospital&s first organ donor.

He said: &After the necessary arrangements, the child was transferred to Tehran by plane, and his two kidneys and liver saved the lives of three needy patients in Tehran&s Sinai Hospital.&Nasirzada said that this is the first time families of deceased patients have agreed to the donation of a patient&s organs in Sistan and Baluchistan province.The post 5-year-old Afghan organ donor saves lives of three Iranians first appeared on Ariana News.
