AIZAWL: At least 17 people were killed after an under-construction rail-road bridge collapsed near the proposed Sairang/Sihmui rail station, about 25 kilometre west of Aizawl, on Wednesday.According to reports, there were around 40 workers at the site.Mizoram chief minister Zoramthanga took to X (formerly Twitter) and informed about the tragedy."Deeply saddened and affected by this tragedy.
