PM Dahal visited Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Lake on Thursday.
After his visit to these sites, he briefly spoke to the RSS and mentioned that arrangements would be made to allow pilgrims to visit Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Lake through the Nepali route.According to the Prime Minister, there has been a preliminary agreement with the Chinese government to enable visitors and pilgrims, including those from Nepal, India, and other countries, to travel through Humla to Mount Kailash and Mansarovar.
Mansarovar Lake is located approximately 250 kilometers from Ngri in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, and it is just 160 kilometers away from the headquarters of Humla district in Simkot. However, the rough road from Simkot to Mansarovar Lake has posed challenges for travelers, despite the route being advantageous for Nepali and Indian visitors in terms of factors such as travel costs, distance, time, visas, and others. Both Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Lake are sacred shrines for Hindus. The Prime Minister arrived in China from Lhasa aboard a flight operated by Tibet Airlines, accompanied by other members of the Nepali delegation.
