BEGUSARAI: A man married off his wife to her lover in Begusarai.

The woman is the mother of two little children.

The man agreed to take care of them so that his wife does not feel burdened with her new life partner.

The incident took place in Dahia village on Tuesday.Ajay Kumar (24) was married to Kajal (22) in 2018.

Their marriage was solemnised with fanfare.However, even after marriage Kajal remained in touch with Raj Kumar Thakur, a resident of Aghapur village under Mansoorchak police station area of the district.

Kajal and Raj Kumar were in love even before her marriage.

The affair between them continued secretly even after Kajal became a mother of two children.

On Tuesday, Kajal declared that she was not able to break her relationship with Raj even after the marriage.Ajay on Wednesday said he came to know about Kajal's relationship with Raj after his family members found them in a compromising position on Monday.

"I was first shocked when my family members told me about the incident.

However, I decided to let her free from my marital bond.

There was no point in continuing with her as she had been in relationship with Thakur.

I even arranged their marriage in a village temple.

My action even protected her from the fury of my family members and locals," said Ajay, who belongs to Rasalpur panchayat of the district.

Ram Sahar Sahni, the sarpanch of the panchayat, said since it was a family decision regarding Kajal's marriage with Raj Kumar, the villagers also accepted it.
