NEW DELHI: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Danish Ali on Friday targeted the BJP and the RSS over the use of abusive language on the floor of the House by ruling party member Ramesh Bidhuri."This is for the first time that such language has been used against an elected member.

Is this what the RSS teaches in its shakhas? Is this kind of language being taught to the BJP's cadres in PM Modi's new India?" the BSP MP questioned."We are mother of democracy according to the Prime Minister and we are proud of it.

The kind of language that was used against an elected member in the temple of the mother of democracy is just unthinkable," Danish Ali said.Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has warned Ramesh Bidhuri of "strict action" if such behaviour is repeated."I could not meet the Speaker yesterday.

I have written a letter to him and I am confident that appropriate action will be taken against the BJP MP," the BSP MP said.Danish Ali has demanded that the matter of Bidhuri's abusive language on the floor of the House be referred to the privileges committee.BSP MP Danish Ali on BJP member Ramesh Bidhuri's remarks during the debate in the Lok SabhaIn his letter to Om Birla, Danish Ali said: "I write to you with deep anguish regarding the speech given in Lok Sabha by an MP of the BJP Mr Ramesh Bidhuri during the discussion on 'Chandrayan success'.

During the course of his speech, he directed the most foul, abusive invectives against me which are part of the record of the Lok Sabha." The BSP MP listed the objectionable words used by Bidhuri against him in the letter."This is most unfortunate and the fact that it has happened in the new Parliament building under your leadership as Speaker is truly heartbreaking for me as a minority member of this great nation and an elected member of Parliament," Ali said."I request you to kindly refer this matter to the committee of privileges under rule 227 of the rules of procedure and conduct of business in Lok Sabha for examination, investigation, and report," the BSP MP from Uttar Pradesh's Amroha said."This is the only way out to discipline an experienced member so that the atmosphere of our country is not vitiated any further.

I request your good self to kindly order an inquiry into the matter," he said.Meanwhile, the opposition parties have demanded strict action against Bidhuri."New low inside the new Parliament of India.
